*Making a Memory Box - February 11, 2012 taught by Yvonne Studevan Artist, genealogy specialist, and historic story teller Yvonne Studevan guides us as we create a memory box filled with tid-bits of our family’s past. Using the technique of collage on recycled cigar boxes you will assemble a “family treasure chest” covered with images and ephemera from your collection of family memorabilia. This montage of memories will be a family heirloom as well as a conversation piece for years to come.

*Pysanky - Eggs with Pizzazz! - March 17, 2012 taught by Ingrid Bolton Ingrid Bolton, master of the Pysanky technique of decorative patterned eggs teaches you how to recreate this ancient traditional Ukrainian art form your-self. This introduction to Pysanky will surely inspire you to add some pizzazz to your Easter eggs this year! All supplies are furnished by STMA – just bring your imagination and enthusiasm to learn a new technique that’s been around for a while!

Havana Hideaway - Saturday, March 31, 2012 6:30 - 10:00 pm March 31st is the date you need to save in order to travel back to the 1950's when "Papa" Hemingway's Havana was the capitol city of glitz and glam. The Museum will be THE place to be for the hottest entertainment with fabulous dancing and music with a pulsating Latin beat. Think.....Tropical slendor, Bongo drums, Conga lines, Zumba Dance as well as A Taste of Cuba Dinner Buffet, Silent Auction, Door Prizes, and Raffles. Watch for further details in the near future!!!
